Method 4: Reset ASUS Router using WPS Button & Power Button

- Turn off your router
- Hold the WPS button down for a long time, then turn on your router.
- The power LED light has turned on. Continue pressing the WPS button.
- After about five seconds, the power LED light flashes for approximately 5 seconds.
- Continue holding the button until the power LED light ceases flashing. The ASUS router will automatically restart.

- Turn on the router
- Establish a connection between your device and the router
- Open browser
- Enter IP address into the address bar, and then confirm by pressing the ‘Enter” key

These steps will reset your Asus RT–N56U to the default settings:
- Turn on the router
- To reset for at least 5 seconds, click the Reset button
