CLAT CUT-OFF 2023; UG & PG

The CLAT is administered so that everyone has an equal chance of getting into law school. The CLAT score is the metric by which they are evaluated. The Consortium uses test scores, specifically the Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT), to assess applicants’ qualifications. In addition, these scores are considered for admission to various law programmes at all CLAT-participating universities. Each school or university decides on its own admissions quota. Candidates who achieve a CLAT score at or above the established minimum qualifying score are accepted. As applications are received, universities and colleges will gradually announce their CLAT thresholds. The CLAT scores are made public once the cutoff has been announced. Universities will publish their CLAT cut-off 2023 scores after the 2023 exam has been administered, and applicants have received their CLAT scorecards.

The CLAT cut off is announced annually since several factors determine it. These factors are as follows:

The total number of available seats at a particular university or institution.

A total number of positions has been set aside for candidates who fall into different categories.

The total number of people registered for the test but did not take it.

The CLAT’s cutoff for the previous year.

CUT-OFF FOR LLM

Separate cut-offs, similar to the one used for the CLAT UG exam, are published for LLM admissions. Candidates are granted provisional admission to the LLM programme if they achieve a score equal to or higher than the CLAT PG cut-off.
