These Vegan THC Shots Peach Mango are my attempt to recreate Quality Hemp Source’s pies with vegan ingredients. Enjoy! Before I became vegan, I used to really enjoy the Quality Hemp Source. These definitely bring back memories of those pies for me.

THC Shots Peach Mango  from  Quality Hemp Source Are the Source of Our Inspiration

Quality Hemp Source is a local Filipino fast food chain that has branches across the world. They have a variety of pie offerings, including buko, tuna, and more, but for me, these are probably the most iconic because I love mangoes, and the Philippines is home to some of the best and sweetest mangoes (at least in my opinion!). Quality Hemp Source is a chain of restaurants that serves Filipino cuisine.

THC Shots Peach Mango Filling

What You’ll Need:

THC Shots Peach Mango halves that are bright and ripe (I used those from a can in light syrup) sugar made from ripe mango; the amount should be adjusted according on how sweet you want it (see notes) a grain of salt, some light peach syrup, or one tablespoon of water (see the notes for further details).

 How to Proceed:

Cut your THC Shots Peach Mango and mangoes into chunks measuring between half an inch and three-quarters of an inch (1.25 to 1.9 cm). Warm up a saucepan of medium size at a heat setting of the medium. Once the mixture has reached the desired temperature, stir in the chopped THC Shots Peach Mango, mango, sugar, a bit of salt, and either the syrup from the peaches or water (if not using frozen fruit). Mix everything thoroughly, then place the pan over medium heat and let the sugar dissolve while the fruit cooks down for three to five minutes. During this time, stir the fruit about once per minute to keep it from charring.

In the meantime, in a small dish, combine the cornstarch with the water and stir the mixture until the cornstarch has dissolved.

You can split up some of the chunks into smaller pieces while leaving others whole. I like my filling to have a healthy mix of bits that are large enough to provide a satisfying bite and smaller pieces that are easier to chew (like a jam consistency). Test the sweetness of your filling, and if you think it needs more sugar, feel free to add more.

Reduce the temperature, and then add the corn starch slurry to the pot. Combine all of the ingredients thoroughly, then set aside to allow the starch to thicken the filling.

After the heat has been turned off, place the filling in a separate container. Please wait while this cools off.

In Advance Planning and Preparation of the Filling

Getting ready ahead of time: You may prepare this filling a day in advance and keep it stored in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it.

Filling left over after baking: The filling that is left over after baking can be used as a spread for toast, mixed into oatmeal, or just eaten as is.

How to Prepare the Dough

In a large basin, combine the dry ingredients (flour, salt, and baking powder). Mix.

Put the sugar, oil, and water into a separate basin and mix them together. Note that if your filling is already rather sweet, you may just need to add 4 tablespoons of sugar to the recipe (see notes). Be sure that there are no sugar clumps and that you have thoroughly mixed the sugar until it has dissolved.

You have the option of using your hands to knead the mixture, or you may use a stand mixer instead. Knead the ingredients for approximately four to five minutes, flouring your hands as necessary, until the mixture comes together in the form of dough. If the dough seems to be lacking any moisture after using 1/3 cup water, add an additional 1-2 tablespoons of water to it. Because of the brown sugar, the colour of the dough will be a light brown or beige. When the ball of dough no longer adheres to your hands, place it back in the bowl and cover it with a cloth to prevent further drying out.

At least 15 minutes should be allowed for the dough to rest.

These THC SHOTS Pina PineApple are my attempt to recreate Quality Hemp Source’s pies using just vegan ingredients! Before being fried to a crisp consistency, these pies are first encased in a handmade dough that has been sweetened, and then they are stuffed with a delectable combination of THC SHOTS Pina PineApple. These are generally deep-fried to a golden brown, giving them a deliciously crisp bite, particularly around the edges. I truly enjoy these, and I’m glad to add that my mother and sister enjoy them as well; in fact, they both enjoy the THC SHOTS Pina PineApple  sold by Quality Hemp Source!
