We are very excited to announce our new Safari Dinner experience in Dubai. This tour is perfect for couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars at night.
4 hours safari & dinner experience
You’ll be able to enjoy a 4-hour safari and dinner experience in the desert. The tour will take you across the beautiful landscapes of Safa’a, where you can see camel herds grazing on golden sand dunes, or stop at an oasis for some relaxing time before returning back to the hotel.
The romance of traveling through the desert is something everyone should experience at least once in their lives!
Hotel Pick up and drop off
Pick up time is at 4 pm and drop off time is at 10pm. The pick up address is in the hotel lobby, and the drop off address is also the hotel lobby.

A desert safari for the romantic in you. Travel across the desert and watch the landscape change from golden sand dunes to green oases where gazelles graze. You will have time to relax, enjoy a drink and enjoy an Arabian night under the stars that you can see from your hotel room or guesthouse bed!
The trip takes about five hours by car, including some driving on busy roads so be prepared for this part of your adventure. The trip ends with dinner at one of our award winning restaurants!
What do we see on a Desert Safari?
You will see lots of different landscapes including:
- Sand dunes with camel caravans loading supplies onto trucks
- Palm trees sway in the wind as they grow taller than skyscrapers
- Oasis flowers blooming into stunning shades of purple, red and yellow (in summer)
Arabic coffee, dates and sweets at sunset
Enjoy a traditional welcome with Arabic coffee, dates and sweets at sunset, then proceed to the barbeque dinner area.
This year, Safari with Baab AL Shams Dinner we’ve partnered with Baab AL Shams to host an exclusive dinner in their stunning rooftop garden overlooking Tel Aviv’s skyline. The menu features locally-sourced ingredients from the region of Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) as well as Israeli produce. The restaurant has also been awarded three Michelin stars by the famous French gourmet journal which means that this event is one not to be missed!

Baab AL Shams Dinner is a unique dining experience that takes you on a journey through the desert, providing you with an opportunity to experience camel riding, henna design and shisha (Arabian water pipe). This package includes dinner at a 4-star hotel followed by live entertainment and belly dance show.

Departure for the desert.
The desert is a wide range of semi-arid lands around the world, with little or no precipitation. They are characterized by distinctive plants and animals, as well as unique geography. The Sahara Desert in Africa is perhaps the most famous example of this type of terrain, but there are many other deserts around the globe too!
The desert environment can be harsh for humans to live in for extended periods of time—but even worse for animals who have evolved to survive there! So how do animals adapt to living in dry climates? In this section we will explore some common adaptations that help make life easier on these poor creatures:
Arrival in the desert and boarding of the 4×4 vehicles.
Upon arrival in the desert, you will be greeted by a driver and your guide. He will board a 4×4 vehicle for the ride to Al Khadim. The drive through the beautiful red dunes of Al Khadim is truly unforgettable! Once we arrive at our first stop, where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset and get an opportunity for pictures, dinner will be served under an open sky with amazing views of nature’s beauty. After dinner which includes traditional Arabic cuisine such as hummus with pita bread as well as salads made from fresh tomatoes picked straight from their own garden (they grow them themselves), we’ll head back home so that everyone can rest before heading out again tomorrow morning!

You’ll begin your safari by a drive through the beautiful red dunes of Al Khadim, then proceed to the first stop, where you can enjoy a spectacular sunset and get an opportunity for pictures.
Afterwards, enjoy a sumptuous buffet dinner with salads, main course and dessert! We strongly recommend that you book this tour in advance as it is very popular among our guests.

When you arrive at the camp, you will be greeted by your guide and a camel ride experience. Afterward, you can relax and enjoy an Arabic coffee while watching henna designs being made on women’s hands. You may also want to try shisha (Arabian water pipe) if that’s something that interests you!
The next stop is where guests will learn more about traditional Arabic dress and costume as well as how communities dress in different parts of the world. This includes both men’s clothing styles as well as women’s clothing styles during different times in history.

At sunset, you will be invited to experience a sumptuous buffet dinner with salads, a main course, and dessert.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly. The camp hosts will make you feel at home during your stay in the desert.
Arabic dances in Dubai
At the end of it all, there will be a Belly Dance show which is known as one of the most popular Arabic dances in Dubai. Entertainment programs will also be provided like Tanoura dance (whirling dervishes).
Traditional costumes are worn by the dancers and this adds to their performance. The show starts off with a traditional Arabic coffee ceremony where they serve you Arabic coffee with dates or other desert fruits on special cups that are decorated with flowers or geometric designs. Then they start their belly dancing performance which includes traditional Arab songs and music played by an Arabian guitar player accompanied by percussionists who accompany them on stage while they perform their steps flawlessly against each other showing off their talent as well as beauty!
Afterwards you can enjoy camel riding through beautiful desert landscapes before having your dessert here at Baab Al Shams Restaurant where we prepare traditional Syrian cuisine such as shishas (Arabian water pipe), falafel balls served with tahini sauce; chicken shawarma served over rice pilaf; meatballs kebabs cooked on skewers over charcoal brazier grill set up outside along side our restaurant offering our guests some delicious dishes from around the world!
Dubai and drop off at your hotel
Once finished with all activities and entertainment, we will drive back to Dubai and drop off at your hotel – End of Service.
