Step by Step Guide to Drawing a Diamond – Let’s Get Started!
Step 1
For this guide to the best way to draw Diamond, having a ruler and light pencil along with your usual drawing tools will be extremely helpful.
If you have to use a ruler, play next to the reference image to repeat the shape we have in it. Two long snakes will form the base, while the top will have two small additions and a neat, snug top.
It is recommended to use a light pencil as it can be fascinating to get this shape right! If the layout looks good on you, you can go over it gently with a darker-colored ballpoint pen or pencil.
Step 2
When the layout of your Diamond design is complete, you can start drawing on the many sides of the gem. The highest point of the Diamond has a flat top, so that’s what we’re going to draw for this step.
To draw the highest point of the gem, define an edge that connects the top corners of the jewel with an edge that mirrors the line at the tip of your gem shape.
