Capital Smart City Islamabad is the first housing society in Pakistan that is being commissioned on the smart city concept. Capital Smart City masterplan is design by the collaboration of recognized national and renowned international developers. Singapore-based consultancy firm Surbana Jurong (SJ) and Norman Foster are the most recognized names that collaborated in masterplan development.

Surbana Jurong Singaporean government-owned consultancy company focusing on infrastructure and urban development, which played an important role in revolutionizing the infrastructure of Singapore. With over 16,000 employees across more than 120 offices, it is currently the largest infrastructure development firm in Asia. The other key developer of Capital Smart City Masterplan is Norman Foster, an English architect, and designer, with more than 5 decades of experience.
