Now you will want to put a slight amount of tension on your fold over elastic. It’s really difficult for me. To tell you exactly how much tension to put on it. You kind of have to just learn to do it. But in this instance, let’s see, I have about four inches of folded. And within that four inches, I’m probably going to pull it lingerie out an additional half of an inch. So you don’t want to do a lot of pulling, you don’t want to pull it out to its extreme. You just want to pull enough so that you’re in charge and this is supposed to help counteract. You’re using two different stretch materials, so put a slight amount of stretch on the full of our elastic. So let’s bast that in, so here you can see we’ve basted. and you can see it’s lightly gathering up just a little bit. That’s perfectly fine. With underwear and things like that, it’s fine to have a little bit of gathering. I like that, because I think that is preferable. once to have something that is stretched out and wavy now.
