Also, there are a lot of games for adults that kids can really enjoy. Here are some tabletop games that gamers of all ages in your family will enjoy. With these games, you can have a lot of fun with your kids without ever having to pull out an old copy of Chutes and Ladders.
Cat Crimes
Cat Crimes is a game that you can play by yourself. It’s a set of logic puzzles where you try to figure out which cat ate a fish, spilled some coffee, or unraveled a ball of yarn, among other bad cat things. But it’s a great game that kids and adults can play together.
The logic puzzles start out easy, but get harder as you go along. Even adults will find them interesting. And the cat standees in the puzzle are funny enough to keep a child’s attention as you work through the logic puzzles together.

The tabletop game Small World is a fun take on the fantasy genre. You are in charge of a unique, made-up race made by mixing up different parts of real races. Your Giants fly, right? King of New York is a bit more complicated, but it lets you smash buildings and destroy planes, tanks, and other vehicles.
This makes the game more fun for kids, but really, either game is a good choice. Even though there is some strategy involved, everything depends on the roll of the dice, so everyone has a good chance of winning.
Castle Panic

Gizmos is a game about making machines, plain and simple. But while engine-building is a big part of many hard-core strategy games, this game has been simplified so that kids can enjoy it. Marbles represent energy, and you can buy new Rube Goldberg machines and add them to your engine by using different types of energy.
These give you more picks of energy or other skills. The marble-drawing mechanism and the creative art on the machines are very popular with kids. Because the strategy is complicated, it’s harder for kids to win, but everyone enjoys building their funny machines. Also, the games are short enough that no one gets bored.
Marvel Champions: The Card Game
Marvel Champions is a great card game that lets you play with all of your favorite superheroes. You’ll do what they do to protect Earth and beat bad guys like Ultron and Rhino.

Stuffed Fables
Stuffed Fables is meant to be played by the whole family. It’s about a little girl who has to deal with the problems of growing up, like moving out of her crib and sleeping without diapers. While she sleeps, her stuffed animals come to life and protect her from dark forces that want her to fail. It’s pretty much a dungeon crawler made for kids. The characters are interesting, the rules are easy to understand, and the situations are hard but not too hard.
Kids can relate to the stories and can’t wait to turn the page in the storybooks. Some of the animals can be a little scary, so it might not be the best thing to do right before bed.
Sushi Go!
Sushi Go! is a cute, low-stakes game in which you win by collecting combinations of famous sushi dishes. Each round only takes a few minutes, but you can play as many rounds as you want to find out who the winner is.
